Travelling with EVs to Kelantan and back via the Gua Musang Highway has just become more feasible.

This is thanks to the new DC Handal charger at Hentian Gua Musang that has just become operational today.

Equipped with a pair of CCS2 nozzle, the Autel MaxiCharger DC Compact charger has a maximum output of 47kW. Through the dynamic charging feature, each EV would receive around 23kW of DC charging when the charger is fully occupied.

Being a DC Handal charger, you don’t need any apps to utilise it. All you need to do is tap your credit or debit card on the charger’s payment terminal and follow the on-screen instructions.

In terms of pricing, it currently costs RM1.30 per kWh to utilise the charger.
